WE HAVE A CHOICE

We have a choice to Save Our Water.

Here in the township of Centre Wellington, Ontario Canada, Nestlé Waters Canada is planning to extract 1.6 million litres of groundwater every day from our local aquifer. Our communities rely on that water. It's time to say no.

Community members of Centre Wellington, Ontario, Canada come together to a send a warning signal around the world.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Together we can Save Our Water.

Nestlé Waters Canada is planning to extract 1.6 million litres of groundwater every day from our local aquifer. This is water our community needs for our schools, our families, our farms, and our local businesses.

If Nestlé Waters Canada is given a permit by the provincial government to take this water, does this government really support businesses and municipalities?

We remember and acknowledge that we are on traditional First Nations land. The Middlebrook well is situated on the Haldimand Tract, which is treaty land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. We express gratitude to the original stewards in this area, the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Attawandaron or Neutral peoples, and endeavour to honour this history by strengthening our relationship with land and water and continuing responsible stewardship.
