The Middlebrook Well Story:

Is it Over? Not by a Long Shot!

Join Save Our Water and Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton for an update on the Middlebrook well and the future of our community's water.

It has been more than two years since our most recent public update and there is much to talk about! This is a great opportunity to hear from the Township, and to find out what we at Save Our Water have been up to. This meeting will also include an update on recent developments in related Provincial legislation, and what we need to do now to continue protecting the Middlebrook well and our community's water.

Hosted online on Earth Day, April 22, 2021, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, we can't wait to see you all again! To register for the meeting, click here.

We remember and acknowledge that we are on traditional First Nations land. The Middlebrook well is situated on the Haldimand Tract, which is treaty land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. We express gratitude to the original stewards in this area, the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Attawandaron or Neutral peoples, and endeavour to honour this history by strengthening our relationship with land and water and continuing responsible stewardship.
